Association of Recognized IOC International Sports Federations
The Association of Recognized IOC International Sports Federations (ARISF) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-discriminatory, International Federation's Association that is constituted through and recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
It's main goals are to universalize and promote the Olympic spirit through the sports it represents.
It is a pillar of the Olympic Movement, respecting and fostering all of the values and principles of the Olympic Charter.
Activities of ARISF
PowerboatingARISF actively supports the interests of the IOC Recognized International Sports Federations.
ARISF is represented on IOC Committees, and gives valuable input reflecting the views of the Member Federations.
ARISF has notable influence on the development of sports in general and olympism in particular.
In addition, ARISF provides a valuable forum for major Sports Federations to learn from each other's knowledge and expertise.

That all 200 million sportswomen and sportsmen of the ARISF member federations obtain the benefits from the recognition of their sport by the International Olympic Committee, as well as by the National Olympic Committees.
Objectives
- To ensure equal attention for ARISF as for the other pillars of the Olympic Movement, ARISF will embark in a campaign to boost its corporate image.
- The ARISF strives to commit the National Olympic Committees to recognise the national associations of the Olympic Recognized IF's, ARISF endeavours to bring about an amendment to the Olympic Charter to that effect.
- The ARISF will assist its member federation to obtain social recognition for the participants of the sport, even to the grassroots of the sport.
- The ARISF will, in dialogue with the IOC, assist its member federations in their objective to include their sports in the Olympic programme.
