Dear Friends,

The untimely death of a friend, Mr. Jaime Bermudez (62) in Buenos Aires, Argentina on monday 6th December, has sent shock waves through the world polo community and through the FIP community in particular.

The Egyptian Polo Federation organized Polo clinics from the 9th through the 18th April 2010 for 30 of its 100 players.

We are proud to announce that  "Associação Portuguesa de Polo" has recently joined FIP as a full member.

The Polo in Portugal, although practiced in the thirtys  by the military class, had its beginnings in the form of competitive sport beginning of the 90s.

James Ashton’s family would like as many of his friends to know of his funeral arrangements.

• Private service for family and close friends by invitation at Carcoar Church 10.30am
• Burial service at Millamolong Polo Field at 12.30 pm open to public--all welcome.
• Reception to follow at Millamolong Homestead.

Death of James Ashton, Interim FIP President

The untimely death of interim FIP President James Ashton, 69, following a polo accident in Bangkok on Sunday 14th February, has sent shock waves through the world polo community and through the FIP community in particular.
