Notes:
Since its birth, on 1987, at The Argentario Polo Club most of the best episodes of Italian polo have been played out. Many big names in the polo international spotlight are gone from here, to give some: Gonzalo and Horacito Heguy, Eduardo Heguy, Alejandro (Piki) Diaz Alberdi, Santiago Araya, David Stirling, Juan Martin Nero, Juan Josè Branè, Agustin Garcia Grossi e Lolo Castagnola, Alfio Marchini.
Thanks to the passion for this sport and the work of maintenance of the playing field, recognized as one of the best in Europe, the Argentario Polo Club has become the reference point of polo in Italy. In recent years the sports organization has achieved several Italian and European records, such as: the I° edition of the Ladies
Polo Cup, the first Ladies polo tournament to be held in Italy and again the first who had organized in Europe a 18 hp tournament at night (during the XX° Anniversary of the club- 2007) and Junior tournaments (age 10-15 years).
Every year for the Coppa Italia F.I.S.E. and the Summer Cup tournaments the Club counts the Italian record of registered teams, second in Europe only after Sotogrande in Spain.
