The Habib Heritage Cup 2008 took place on 2nd and 3rd August at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Highbury Finance Helvetica Team battled out the final on Sunday with a surprising win over the Habib Bank UK Pakistani Invitational Team with 81/2 to 6 goals.

An outstanding performance was given and most valuable player in the Swiss Team was Thomas Hunt, who also received The Best Playing Pony Award for his mare “Gatta”.

The British Army Officers held up against a very strong Team US from Washington DC,
with Juan Salinas-Bentley as Team Captain over ruling the hosting Team formed of
3 Officer Cadets Holtum, Morley and Hopkinson and 2 Army Officers.

All players were kitted out with T.M Lewin shirts & ties from O.H Hewett. Lollypop
Breeches in suede leather were manufactured especially for the event by Kashket & Partners Ltd.
for the Sandhurst Team.
