1st POLO ON SNOW, J&T BANKA TROPHY 2010.
International winter polo tournament
February 5th to 7th, 2010

The historical first polo on snow tournament was held in northern Slovakia Picturesque Ski resort Vysoké Tatry Mountains on the Štrbské Pleso frozen lake.
As a perfect set up for snow polo with a comparable atmosphere like Cortina or St Moritz, 5-7th of February was the date for the 5-7 goal tournament. Four international teams were playing for the exclusive glass designed trophy which held the name of the title sponsor or the tournament. J&T Banka Trophy.

The biggest private bank and investor in the luxury resort in Vysoke Tatry devoted the effort and supported I.POLO KLUB BRATISLAVA 1888 in organizing that unique event.

Enormous media interest helped to promote polo nation wide. Three days of pure luxury and joy of a sport attracted more than 10 000 spectators.
With team sponsors such as Cartier, BMW, Park Snow and Bollinger Champagne was our club able to attract decent local and international players with very good horses. 

The finals were a spectacular game between the BMW and Park Snow team.
