Los Reyes Polo Club Hosts the 129th FIP Ambassador’s Cup

The 129th FIP Ambassador’s Cup was held at Los Reyes Polo Club, in La Guácima, Alajuela, Costa Rica, bringing together players from several countries, including Argentina, Spain, Sweden and the United States, for another memorable edition of this traditional event.
The tournament began with the official teams presentation and shirt ceremony, a special moment that welcomed all participants and highlighted the camaraderie and international spirit that define the Ambassador’s Cup.
At the end of the event, Z Polo emerged as the champions of the 129th FIP Ambassador’s Cup.
The participating teams were:
Z Polo: Ivan Maldonado, Stephan Zurcher, Edgar Zurcher, Ade Adedeji
Babieca Ecuestre: Victor Wolf, Felipe/Pato, Javeh Attrak, Edu Miranda
La Ermita: Daniel Lacayo, Marco/Fabrice, Fer Chavarria, Jose Alvarez
Santa Clara: Fede Escobar, Ronald Zurcher, Ricardo Falla, Horacio Areco
La Florentina: Nico Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Julian Ramirez, David Arias





FIP congratulates Z Polo on winning the tournament and extends its sincere thanks to Los Reyes Polo Club for hosting the event, as well as to the local organisers and FIP Ambassadors in Costa Rica — Ronald Zurcher, Victor Wolf and Francisco Escobar — for their commitment, hospitality and continued support for the development of polo in the country.
